Thank You for 15 Fabulous Years!

No matter how many times we say it, or how emphtically it is expressed, the words always feel flat; "Thank you" can't begin to tell you the overwhelming emotion we feel every year when we realize there will be another one.

Fifteen years has come and gone since we first opened The Little Tart and there are many of you who have been with us since then. Two little words can't convey the way we feel about that.

Each year, when we open our doors, we don't know if there will be a next year. We have, on a few occasions said to ourselves, "It was good while it lasted." And a couple of those were in the past few years. As Bill and I have both learned - and as I have quoted now and again - "Life is what happens while you were busy making other plans." We have had our fair share of ups and downs during the lifetime of The Little Tart but the one constant - our true secret to still being here - is you. It has been from day one - has been for fifteen years and so "thank you" doesn't fully express our gratitude for your support, kindness, generosity and understanding when we have had to face unexpected "life happens" circumstances.

And now here we are and the end of another season and we are looking forward to the next one which makes this a very successful year. We want you to know that this "thank you" overflows with love and affection and adoration. You make us want to do our very best work and for The Little Tart to be the very best we can make it for you. The business itself is four walls and two crazy bakers. Each and every one of you make The Little Tart a special place that we are so proud to be a part of.

'kayso, now that the mushy gushy is out of the way, let's move on to Christmas because that's our next focus and a lot of you have asked about it.

It is our plan to have a Christmas opening. The weather has its own plan (as we learned last year) so we're going to have a chat with Winter and see if we can get some cooperation. You scoff, but I did me some talking to the sun. Did you see that beautiful weather we had?

You're welcome.

We hope you are having a fabulous Thanksgiving weekend. Have a wonderful fall, winter and - if we don't see you before then - spring.  Please, please, please stay safe and healthy and come back and see us again because, until you do, we'll miss you. ❤️
